Sealed proposals (bids) for purchase and removal of standing timber will be received by the Board of Directors of The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District at the office of its Chief Engineer located at the Administration Building, 1181 Ohltown-McDonald Road, Weathersfield Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, until 1:30 p.m., Daylight Savings Time, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read. The standing timber for which purchase proposals are invited consists of 256 marked trees located on approximately 55 acres of land owned by The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District. The area is designated by a heavy boundary line on a map annexed to the form of Agreement included in the Contract Documents.
Proposals must be based upon and in conformity with the Contract Documents and must be submitted upon the form of Proposal furnished in the Contract Documents.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, as prescribed by the Contract Documents, in the form of either a bid bond or a certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the bid price.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in any proposal, and to award the contract as the best interest of The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District may require.
