LIMITATION
Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Resolution Nos. 19-12-19 and 19-01-20 of the Board of Education of the Brookfield Local School District adopted on December 10, 2018 and January 3, 2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of said School District at an election to be held at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, the question of levying an additional tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the purpose of repairing, constructing, improving, furnishing and equipping buildings and facilities for school purposes, improving sites for school purposes and acquiring school buses at a rate not exceeding 1.9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.19 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2019, first due in calendar year 2020.
The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.
