The New Ulm Journal is looking for a person knowledgeable in sports to join our staff part-time. Applicants should possess strong writing skills and be able to work quickly. Duties include taking phone calls and writing up brief summaries of games. There is also a possibility of covering games. Because the prep schedule is busiest Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, you may have to work three nights a week and some weekends. Hours are generally from 8 p.m.-11 p.m., depending on the season. Experience is a plus but not necessary.
